The studio features wonderful natural light and an access to a wide range of surfaces, backgrounds and props. For those of you that want to focus more on product shot, Yeshen will allocate time for that 1-1.
All attendees will receive access to a pdf of Yeshen’s photo and styling tips PDF + additional in-depth guides (with photos) illustrating many of the topics covered in the masterclass. Yeshen will also share some of the photos we take at the workshop with notes.
Yeshen has worked with many of the leading independent designer/makers in the UK including Sue Pryke, Emma Lacey and Rhian Malin and is endorsed by many leading craft and design organisations such as The Design Trust, Just a Card, The Crafts Council and Cockpit Arts.

You will learn:

• How to visualise your images and choose props, backgrounds and surfaces for lifestyle setups
• How to plan for certain crops and ratios
• The top 5 (cheap) essential accessories that will help your product shots
• How to capture movement and hands within images
• Specific tips for reflective products and capturing details
• Using your phone camera vs a DLSR and how to use a tripod
• Using Aperture Priority mode to make an image appear bright even on a dull day.
About Yeshen
Yeshen has worked with hundreds and designer/makers and small businesses in the craft and design sector and is one of the leading product photographers in London. He has run workshops around the UK with The Design Trust, New Designers, The Craft Council, ETSY, Cockpit Arts and Folksy. Alongside his photography work, Yeshen is an official Squarespace Specialist plus trainer and creates short films and animations with his partner Natasha as Yesh&Tash.

Emma Shipley is an experienced stylist living and working in Surrey and London. She provides a full styling service for photo shoots which includes concept creation and set design. Emma has been working with Designers, Artists and Makers for over 10 years, not to mention brands such as Bills, Lindt Chocolate, M&S and Côte Brasserie.
