This is broad category that may include toys, craft kits, personalised family portraits, party supplies and clothing.
Preparing
Kids products can often include a lot of smaller individual props and accessories so careful packing, labelling and use of a prepared shot list is crucial. We do not have much in the way of baby/child props at the studio and no children's furniture or child size clothes hangers, so this should all be brought along to shoot. Although we have on occasion shot kids and baby models we are not a specialist in this area so would recommend using a specialist studio and photographer for model shots.
Styling
Think about complementary items of children's furniture like chairs, stools and small tables. Consider borrowing items from kids shops, they will often allow this for a credit and use of images afterwards.
