Book Photography for Publishers

We've been creating book photography for UK publishers since 2012 — product shots, styled lifestyle images and campaign photography for title launches, seasonal promotions and special editions. Our clients include Penguin Random House, Faber & Faber, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Canongate and Thames & Hudson.

What we create

Every shoot is built around how the images will actually be used. A typical brief might span specific layouts for Instagram square and 4:5 crops, a website hero banner, email newsletter headers and press office assets — all from a single, well-planned session. We work with fiction, non-fiction, cookery, illustrated books, children's titles and design-led publishing. We understand that a Nigel Slater cookbook and a Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie literary novel need completely different treatment, and that the marketing team needs a varied suite of images, not a single look.

We have had the most wonderful feedback from the photographs, they are absolutely beautiful.
— Alice Murphy-Pyle, Penguin Vintage

What we create

Most of our books shoots come through personal recommendation, and we treat each brief as a long-term relationship rather than a one-off transaction. We're straightforward to work with: clear communication, fast turnaround, and retouched images delivered in the exact formats your team needs.

These are gorgeous photos! Very happy, thank you so much.
— Olivia Marsden, Harper Collins
