Exton Park: Above and Below

Stylist Jessica Jung and I were commissioned by the UK Vineyard Exton Park to create a series of images for this campaign.

“The 60 Above and 60 Below Prestige Pack is the first-ever cellar-aged and sea-aged English sparkling duo. 60 Above was aged in the traditional method, 60 metres above sea level in Exton Park’s wine cellar. The barnacle-covered 60 Below is truly revolutionary. Aged 60 metres beneath the sea, off the coast of Brittany, it is thought that the constant movement of the water on bottles whilst they are still on lees has the potential to develop the wine in a different way.”

For the Hero shots of each bottle we created 2 dramatically different studio sets with atmospheric lighting to suit. The positioning of the bottle in each needed to match, thereby giving the website banners a smooth transition. Capturing the details of the Below bottle’s surface and the complex embossing/foiling of the bottle tags was also important. The gifting image has a rich tone and luxury feel in part due to the specialist paper from GFSmith. Jess and I really enjoyed this shoot and hope to create more striking images for Exton Park in the future.
