Artist in Residence at The Serge Hill Project.

I travelled to the beautiful gardens of Serge Hill in Bedfordshire to document the work of Anne McKenzie, the artist in residence for 2025. I have shot Anne’s work many times at her home studio in London but this was a chance to see working ‘en plain air’ and enjoy the stunning natural environment.

During Anne’s year-long residency, she will be brushing banners in the Plant Library, culminating in an exhibition of her work in The Apple House in Spring 2026.
