JUST A CARD - INDIE WEEK is about encouraging people to support, value and buy from small businesses, independent shops, artists, designers and makers at Christmas. Whilst the world goes mad for the consumer fest that is Black Friday, JUST A CARD invites everyone to unite to add bags of creative colour to the week to encourage people to SUPPORT INDEPENDENTS THIS CHRISTMAS!
I’ve been working part of the Just a Card team from the start, helping them create their website and photographing products and events. The whole team is delighted at how successful the campaign has been but there is still a huge amount of work todo.
How you spend you money on gifts this Christmas can really make a difference to someone’s business - literally make or break! So visit your local shops, markets and craft fairs and let the indy business owners know you love them buy buying something! Small businesses are much bigger and more powerful then they stand together.

TUESDAY: JUST A CARD. Time to GET CREATIVE!! Use our logo and make a JUST A CARD image to spread the word! Say what the campaign message/sales mean to you. Use one of our images if you’re not feeling creative.

WEDNESDAY: YOUR HOME & COMMUNITY. Share the LOVE! Say where you live. Post a image of something you’re part of, a group show, favourite local shop, cafe, museum, or the work of an artist, maker, or small businesses you love. Tell us about lots of favourites and say why you love them.

THURSDAY: EVENTS. Post promo material of events you’re doing, or love visiting. Invite people to come. If you don’t know any then post one of our INDIE WEEK images and invite people to join in on INDIE FRIDAY!

FRIDAY: 🎉INDIE FRIDAY🎉 (Our colourful alternative to Black Friday) Sell. Promote. Buy! Celebrate. Be loud and proud. Share new work, websites etc TELL THE WORLD - SHOP INDEPENDENT THIS CHRISTMAS!
