Ceramics Photography Masterclass for 2020
If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know I love to share my knowledge of product photography through talks and workshops. For example, each year I speak to the New Designers grads and give a workshop session to the Crafts Council Hothouse group.
Professional photography is so important to presenting your work, but I know it’s not always possible to shoot new work with a pro every time. So this is an opportunity for those who work with clay, be it decorative or functional, to learn how to master your camera and take better shots at your home or studio.
On Sat 25 January I’ll be running the second Product Photography masterclass at my studio. This morning session will include a short slideshow with some case studies (attendees will have access to this as a pdf), moving on to a practical demo showing you how to use natural light, basic accessories and your camera settings to improve your own photography.
Are you a textile designer? I am looking at offering a similar session with a focus on textiles so please contact me if you are interested.
