I work from my own home studio in Islington, where I'm either taking photos or creating Squarespace websites.
The space has real character. A 9ft ceiling and double height north-east facing windows mean there's beautiful, soft light all day. The floor is white oak style to match the soft grey and white of the walls and wood detailing. Just off the studio is a large open plan kitchen which is useful for preparing products, not to mention making good tea and coffee. Most shoots make use of the studio space and/or a combination of backgrounds and surfaces from our collection. See the full range and examples in a dropbox folder here. For example, it could be a wooden board surface with a paper roll backdrop or a paper surface combined with a canvas backdrop.

There's nothing more important for me the giving you the best possible images, this studio allows me the space, time and tools to achieve this day in, day out.
The space is large enough to handle anything up to a medium pieces of furniture. For larger items or set builds, I have also used Holborn Studios, nearby on Wharf Road, which has many facilities including a gantry for wide overhead shots. Other local studios include Studio Up in Stoke Newington and Big Sky. See more options for external studios and location properties on our locations page.
Click the studio images on this page to view full screen. The studio is located in London N1, close to Kings Cross and a few minutes walk from Caledonian Road and Barnsbury Overground. If you plan on staying over in London before or after the shoot we can recommend:
