A bit of background...

I was born in the West Country (a secluded hamlet in the Quantock hills to be precise. I met Hilary in Wales while working with a designer based there and was instantly impressed by her styling skills - she makes everything look effortlessly beautiful. After the success of the first shoots at The Welsh Hous, we were keen to run another shoot closer to London.

Here's a sample of the first shoot we did together, for her brand Damson&Slate.

Known as the 'Designer/Maker's favourite Photographer', Yeshen has worked with hundreds of designers and small businesses. Using a distinctive style of lighting and composition, his focus is on the end use of the images, from websites and selling platforms to social media and printed materials. He works directly with his clients in his Islington studio and on location.

Yeshen has run presentations and workshops on product photography for ETSY, Folksy, Crafty Fox Market, The Design Trust and The Craft Council.

Alongside his wife Natasha, Yeshen also runs the design studio Yesh&Tash, creating short films, websites and animations. See more at
